DRI Small Project Grant Fund

The Development Chenango Corporation was awarded $600,000 for the Downtown Revitalization Initiative (DRI) Small Grant Fund Program, approximately $350,000 of which has been dedicated to building renovations. Property Owners in Downtown Norwich can apply by May 16, 2025 for matching funds with a maximum of $100,000* for their building renovation expenses.

About the Norwich Business Improvement District (BID)

The Norwich BID is governed by a District Management Association, a not-for-profit corporation which is charged with carrying out the activities set forth in the Business Improvement District Plan. BID capitalizes on the idea that the downtown is the center of community life and more than just a place of commerce. We believe that a revitalized downtown benefits the entire community because an attractive downtown is a symbol of community economic health, quality of life, and pride in history.
