The Norwich Business Improvement District hosts several exciting events throughout the year. In addition, the BID is a proud supporter of the various signature events of Norwich; such as the Gus Macker 3-on-3 Basketball Tournament, the Chenango Blues Festival, Colorscape Chenango and the Pumpkin Festival

The Easter Egg Hunt will take place on Saturday, April 15th, 2017 rain or shine at 10 AM.

Kids up to age 4 start in West park at 10:00 a.m., Kids aged 5-8 start at 10:15 a.m. in East Park. With over 5,000 eggs there are treats for everyone. Grand prize eggs – win one of two bicycles! Afterwards come watch the movie "Easter Bunny is coming to Town" for FREE at the Chenango Arts Council at 11:00 a.m.

Main Street Sweep - May 13th, 2017
Main Street Sweep will take place Saturday, May 14, 2016. Board members and volunteers work together to clean up the downtown by picking up trash, washing windows, spraying down sidewalk and pulling weeds. More volunteers are ALWAYS needed. Please meet at East Park Place near the stage at 9 AM sharp.
Memorial Day Weekend Cruise In
The Memorial Day Weekend Cruise In will take place Friday, May 26, 2017. All car buffs are invited to East park from 6 pm - 9 pm to show off your pride and joy. No fees or judging, just fun.
Santa and EmmaDowntown Tree Lighting Ceremony, Thursday, December 7st, 2017, West Park, Norwich:
Sing along with the children from Perry Brown Intermediate School as they kick off the holidays in downtown Norwich. At the conclusion of the event, Santa and his helpers push the magic buttons and the downtown parks become illuminated with hundreds of lights.
Santa's Igloo:
A bit of the North Pole comes to town as the Christmas holiday approaches. Young and old alike are invited to come visit Santa in his igloo - East Park gazebo. The Igloo will open following the Parade of Lights . . . and will be open December 9 - 23, 2017. Friday's 5-8 pm and Saturdays 1-4 pm (Check the door of the Igloo, Pennysaver or Evening Sun for any schedule changes.)
